Our visit to Kennett Square for the United Way of Southern Chester County Oxford Fire Fund Benefit reminded me of why we do what we do. We join together as one big community with other folks from all over Pennsylvania to help our neighbors. I can honestly say that Chester County has some of the most caring souls you'd ever meet. The Kennett Creamery is such a beautiful venue and the staff are incredible and kind. United Way Director, Terry Vodery shined and her wonderful team's enthusiasm for their organization and the important cause was palpable. Friends and family filled the space with a warmth that matched the unseasonable summer-like autumn evening. It was super fun night of music, food, drinks and camaraderie all while raising funds for a super important cause. I want to personally thank Citadel Federal Credit Union and Aqua Pennsylvania for their generosity. Their sponsorship helped us to make this night possible.
